Beyond Lust's Shadow

In a world where bodies blaze bright,

Shapes and colors rule the night,

Where love's soft whispers fade away,

And lust's harsh voice leads hearts astray.

Our flesh, once cherished, now displayed,

In glossy ads and shallow praise,

Objectified by mere design,

Defined by curves, not hearts that shine.

Once pure, now tangled in deceit,

In search of lust, we skip the beat,

Changing partners like new clothes,

Chasing thrills where true love goes.

The heat of passion blinds the eyes,

Polluting minds with fleeting ties,

Loyal hearts deemed naive and frail,

Innocence seen as a tragic tale.

Sexual storms rage in the air,

Dangerous waves without a care,

More toxic than the smog or grime,

As lust consumes our fleeting time.

Lust is a wildfire burning bright,

More dangerous than day or night,

So many souls lost in the haze,

In pursuit of a lustful craze.

Let not the body be the guide,

To love that’s genuine and wide,

For in true love, there’s light to find,

Beyond the lust that clouds the mind.
